Loaner

Loaners in Star Citizen are granted to you when a ship you own is not yet ready or not qualified for the basic Arena Commander modes (e. g. Drake Caterpillar or Origin 890 Jump). Also already fly ready ships become unflyable. In those cases CIG occasionally will also grant loaners to owners of such ships.

The Loaner Ship Matrix can be altered at any time by CIG when your ship becomes fly ready or a better fitting loaner joins the list of available ships.

Important to note: you will only get a single loaner, even if you have multiple ships that would grant you access to the same loaner.
